Ex-WWE Star Alleges RAW Wrestler Divorced Her On Birthday

Former WWE Superstar Lana (real name CJ Perry) has some strong accusations against her husband and current WWE wrestler Rusev.

The duo tied the knot in 2016, but had separated in 2023. In fact, the separation had reached divorce, but the pro-wrestlers renewed their vows in 2025.

During the first episode of ‘Identity Crisis‘, Perry and Rusev deep dived into their marriage and opened up about their separation. During the conversation, she revealed that Rusev had tried to serve her divorce papers on her birthday: March 23rd.

You know it’s interesting because when I think back for, he served divorce papers on my birthday.

I see that it’s the attorney like this is you know, like the attorney that the divorce attorney that had contacted me and I see March 22nd the attorney had responded to like asked him something. He’s like okay let me try to overnight it so I can beat her to the punch. I swear, and I was reading this, I was like, he wants to beat me to the punch for our, this is our marriage, you know.

The WWE RAW superstar kept denying the accusation, but Perry revealed having email timestamps that can prove her correct. However, the duo has moved past their issues and were only laughing throughout the conversation.

Rusev is set for an important WWE challenge

The RAW superstar has been announced for John Cena’s ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament. He will be taking on Damian Priest in the first round of the tournament, commencing on November 10th, 2025.

He has revealed that he will avenge himself by winning the tournament and finally retiring The Champ.
