Ex-WWE Manager Rates Triple H’s In-Ring Skills 6.5/10

Triple H WWE

Triple H was not a great in-ring performer, according to a former WWE manager.

The Cerebral Assassin joined the Stamford-based company in the mid-1990s. He had a long, successful career as an in-ring competitor, winning 14 world championships, among many other titles.

Despite this, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart has previously rated Triple H’s in-ring work 4/10. The Excellence of Execution described The Game as a “very good, medium, mediocre wrestler.”

On the latest episode of his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the former WWE manager was asked to rate Triple H’s in-ring skills. He gave the current Chief Content Officer a 6.5/10.

Well, I don’t think Bret was that far off. I would say a six and a half out of 10 is what I would say. But see, I don’t think his value really lay in his work. His value lays in his understanding of the business as a whole.

And that’s the position he’s in now. I think he trained since he married Stephanie. I think he’s trained to take Vince’s place and he went out of his way to learn the old school and the new school. And I think he’s don a tremendous job at it really. [1:02:19 onwards]

Will Triple H Ever Return To The WWE Ring?

The Game retired from in-ring competition in April 2022 after undergoing a serious heart surgery. Since then, many have wondered if he would ever return to the squared circle.

During his appearance on the Night of Champions Post-Show, the Saudi crowd chanted “one more match” for The Game. However, the 55-year-old shut down the possibility of that ever happening.

Trust me there ain’t one more match left in this. You know how they say ‘if it’s the last thing I do’, it WOULD be the last thing I do. [H/T: WrestleTalk]
