Ex-WWE Star Believes Liv Morgan Is Perfect In Her Current Role

Liv Morgan is thriving as the WWE Women’s World Champion and one of her best friends thinks she’s thriving on her “revenge tour.”

It has been a huge 2024 for Liv Morgan, who nearly won the Royal Rumble after missing the second half of 2023 with a serious shoulder injury. Since coming back, Morgan has said she was on the “Liv Morgan Revenge Tour.”

That revenge tour has seen Morgan take out former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley with a shoulder injury of her own for several months, beat Becky Lynch for the Women’s World Title and play mind games with “Daddy” Dominik Mysterio.

While Morgan has been a champion in the past, she is clearly one of the top stars on WWE Monday Night Raw and she is receiving some of the loudest crowd reactions of her career.

Former WWE superstar CJ Perry, who fans may remember as Lana, is one of Morgan’s best friends. The two women can often be seen hanging out together on Instagram. While speaking to USA Today, Perry explained why Morgan is thriving more than ever in her current WWE run.

“She’s in the perfect casting. She’s an incredible worker, she’s an incredible athlete.”

“At the end of the day, professional wrestling is scripted television, where we want to believe what you’re doing is real, and she’s the hot girl. We love her. Those are exciting stories to tell on television.”

Perry went on to discuss how women can definitely sell tickets to the shows and Liv Morgan is an example of that.

“Women need to be represented, and yes we are different than men. But we bring value. We can sell tickets. I mean look at Liv Morgan right now. It shows you that we need everything. We need the competitors, we need the badasses, we need the love stories and there’s a spot for everyone.”

Liv Morgan Likely To Face Rhea Ripley At WWE SummerSlam

On the July 8th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio picked up a big win over Dom’s father Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega. However, the bigger story was later in the night when Rhea Ripley made her return to huge cheers.

Morgan bailed to escape an attack, but she may not be able to run for too long because it’s likely that Morgan will face Ripley at SummerSlam on August 3rd. The match isn’t official yet, but it is heavily rumored to be a part of the show.
