A former WWE star currently plying their trade elsewhere has shown off their hard work as their body has been transformed.

Eric Young returned to TNA in July 2020 as a surprise challenger in the five-way match for the TNA World Championship at Slammiversary.

Prior to his return to the promotion where he made his name, Young spent several years in WWE as part of the Sanity group. Sanity found success in NXT with Young and Alexander Wolfe holding the NXT Tag Team Championship, but when the group moved to the WWE main roster, the writing was on the wall.

Eric Young Returned To TNA After WWE Stint

The 46-year-old star is already a two-time TNA World Champion, and while other stars his age might be thinking of slowing down, Young is getting in the shape of his life.

Taking to social media, Eric Young showed off his before and after pictures showing how his body has been transformed as he noted 2026 will be his best year yet:

What a difference a few months can make! Thank you Cam! Thank you @optimizeucenters @optimizeufranklin @optimizeueastnash thank you @merakimedicinal and @troscriptions @carbon_performance_ What a team I have built! MOST OF ALL THANK YOU ME! For doing the work and following through in saying 2026 will be my best year ever! I am the BEST version of me ever and a little better every day!

Eric Young was signed again by WWE in 2022, but never made an appearance for the company at that time. Young later admitted he asked for his release when Vince McMahon returned to the promotion.
