Ex-WWE Champion’s Deal Ends Imminently
A former WWE Champion is hurtling towards free agency and could be bringing his time in the company to an end.
Fightful Select has reported that former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley’s deal with WWE ends in a matter of weeks. The report also confirmed PWN’s information that Lashley has been removed from WWE’s internal roster although he is still featured on the company’s website.
Lashley is said to be planning on continuing his wrestling career even if no extension is reached with WWE over a new deal although it is also noted that fighting in the MMA world again is not out of the realm of possibility.
The last time Bobby Lashley was featured on WWE television was the 12th of April edition of SmackDown where he was part of a triple threat that involved Santos Escobar and was won by LA Knight although he has appeared on live events since then but none since May.
WWE Re-Sign Several Stars
In recent months stars such as Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor have publicly confirmed that they have signed new deals with the company despite running down their previous contracts. Natalya is also believed to have signed a new deal as she flirted with free agency while Becky Lynch let her WWE contract expire and she is no longer officially a part of the company.
