Ex-WWE Champion Set To Return Very Soon

One former WWE Champion looks set to make their return to the company before the end of November after several months out of action.

The last time Sheamus was seen on WWE television was back in August 2023 when he lost to Edge in The Rated-R Superstar’s final match for the company. Since then Sheamus has been seen in a neck brace while he recovers from a “really bad” injury.

Now the Irish star has been added to WWE’s show pages for the November 24, December 8, and December 15 editions of SmackDown indicating that he could be back on those shows.

WWE Abandons One Return To SmackDown

However, things might not be as straightforward for Sheamus after WWE apparently called off another return on SmackDown in Columbus, Ohio. Another former WWE Champion had been added to the website page for that show but WWE abandoned AJ Styles’ return and he did not appear on the show as some expected.

In Sheamus’ absence from WWE his partners in The Brawling Brutes – Ridge Holland and Butch – have continued teaming on both SmackDown and NXT.
