A former four-time WWE Champion has seemingly hinted at the end of her wrestling career.

Ronda Rousey is one of the most popular names in physical contact sports, including mixed martial arts and wrestling.

After dominating MMA for several years, she transitioned into WWE.

Before officially joining the Stamford-based company, she made sporadic appearances at pay-per-views and signings.

The most famous incident involving Rousey was at WrestleMania 31 in 2015, where she and The Rock confronted Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

She made her debut in 2018, first appearing at the Royal Rumble event and later in a tag team match at WrestleMania 34.

Rousey was immediately pushed as a contender to win the women’s title, which she did at that year’s SummerSlam by squashing Alexa Bliss.

During her WWE career, Ronda Rousey held titles both in RAW (1) and SmackDown (2), and the women’s tag team division (1).

Ronda Rousey More Focused On Motherhood Than WWE

Ronda Rousey’s last storyline in the company was against one of her close friends, Shayna Baszler.

After her loss to Baszler at SummerSlam 2023, there were reports claiming Rousey had wrestled in her last match.

In October that year, she said on Instagram that she had retired.

Rousey recently appeared on the UNTAPPED podcast, where she was asked about being seen in gyms frequently and whether she was returning to wrestling.

I am, like, deep in mom mode. I am not in the studio, you know, I’m working out in my garage, and I’m just trying to reclaim my body from motherhood. [3:06 onwards]

Ronda Rousey’s work in WWE was praised by veterans and fans, as she brought her MMA experience and blended it with sports entertainment.
