Ex-WWE Champion Joins Nic Nemeth In Shock TNA Debut
What is one WWE Hall of Famer doing in the Impact Zone?! TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth might have the answer.
Former WWE star Nic Nemeth – formerly known as Dolph Ziggler – captured the TNA World Championship at Slammiversary in a six-way match that saw Moose lose the gold.
For a month, Nemeth held that title along with the AAA Mega Championship but he lost that latter title at Triplemania XXXII to a familiar opponent to him in Alberto El Patron. Nic Nemeth didn’t head to Mexico alone, however, for that match as he was accompanied by WWE Hall of Famer JBL.
Former WWE Champion JBL Appears In TNA
Now, at TNA Emergence, Nemeth has retained his TNA World Title against former champion Josh Alexander in a one-hour Iron Man match, three falls to two.
However, after the bout, Nemeth was joined in the ring by JBL who was making his first appearance in TNA where the former WWE Champion whispered something to Nemeth before the two men nodded at each other signalling that their alliance could be set to continue.
