The New Day has seemingly added a new member to its faction, replacing Big E.

Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods would form the faction by happenstance in 2014, but officially become a unit in November that same year.

The trio was presented to the fans as a babyface, which grew immensely popular as the years went by.

Big E temporarily deflected from his journey with the faction and went on a singles run, even capturing the WWE Championship in 2021 after cashing his Money in the Bank briefcase on Bobby Lashley.

In 2022, he reunited with The New Day after being drafted to SmackDown, but suffered a career-threatening injury in March, which has kept him out of action to date.

Two years later, in December 2024, Big E appeared on RAW to celebrate his faction’s 10-year anniversary. However, he was lambasted by Woods and Kingston, leading to his official ousting from the team.

Ever since, The New Day has appeared as a heel tag team, even winning the championship at WrestleMania 41, only to lose it to the Judgment Day on the June 30 episode of RAW.

Grayson Waller Appears With The New Day On WWE RAW

On the July 14 episode of the red brand, Grayson Waller appeared in a segment with the New Day.

For a couple of weeks, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have ‘mourned’ their tag team title loss in backstage segments.

After their loss on the June 30 taping, the former tag team champion was interviewed by Byron Saxton, during which he praised the New Day, hinting at a potential team-up.

This time around, he was seen with Kingston and Woods, engaged in a discussion with General Manager Adam Pearce.

While no official announcement was made about the three men pairing, it will be interesting to see what they have in store in the coming weeks.
