Ex-WWE Champion Will Be “Going All In” During 2025
Rumours are running wild that another WWE Hall of Famer is preparing for a comeback.
In the second half of 2024, JBL has been on something of a wrestling world tour. The star, formerly known as Bradshaw has been rocking up at events all over the place, hitting a Clothesline from Hell and then leaving. This has seen him travel to AAA, GCW, and TNA to cause chaos.
These appearances have sparked speculation the WWE Hall of Famer could embark on a full-scale in-ring return in the coming months. JBL ended his full-time career in 2009 and has remained out of the ring since aside from a cameo in the 2014 Royal Rumble match.
Interestingly, the veteran has now promised that something big is coming in 2025, even if he can’t say exactly what that is, or even if it will work as he hopes.
During the latest edition of Something to Wrestle With, JBL said he’s working his ass off to make his plans come together.
“I got some really cool plans that are starting to come to fruition starting fairly soon,” JBL stated, adding, “I think I have a really cool idea and some good people to do it with… This year, it’s going to be attempted. I can tell you that. 100% sure it’s going to be attempted, and whether it works or not, we’ll see. I think it will. I’m working my ass off right now to make it happen.”
Ex-WWE World Champion JBL Leaving Nothing To Chance
The former World Champion then dropped the biggest hint yet about his future, commenting that he’s trying to get to those “two different places.”
“In 2025, I have a couple of really big things, not only tentatively planned, but scheduled and in the calendar planned that I’ve got down. I’m building stuff around it right now to try to get to those two different places.”
In closing, JBL admitted what he’s planning is fraught with risk and he’s got no idea whether it’ll work, but if he fails, it won’t be through lack of trying.
“And so, yes, there’s I got something huge that I’ve been planning, as you know, for the better part of a year of wanting to do stuff, and that it’s going to all come to fruition. And either it’s going to work big, or I’m going to go down in flames. One of the two, I don’t care. I’m I’m going all in.”
During an interview in November, Wade Barrett said he’d love JBL to make an in-ring return, adding that the veteran has seemingly found the fountain of youth.
