Ex-WWE Champion Wins First Title Since Release

A former champion in WWE now has gold around their waist again for the first time since they were released by the sports entertainment giant.

Back in May, WWE released several main roster stars, including Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and Shayna Baszler. These were followed by departures from the NXT roster with the likes of Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin, Gallus, and Dani Palmer all let go.

Gigi Dolin fired back at reports WWE released stars for being lazy, and she was quick to make moves for her post-WWE future as a match was announced pitting her against her real-life fiancé, TNA star Zachary Wentz.

That match, where Dolin returned to her non-WWE name of Priscilla Kelly, was cut short after she suffered an unfortunate knee injury. But now she has bounced back, and the former NXT Tag Team Champion has claimed gold once again.

Adrenaline Championship Wrestling took to social media to celebrate Priscilla Kelly defeating Riley Krowe and Nahir Robles to become the ACW Fire Women’s Champion:

Priscilla Kelly also took to social media to celebrate her success with a message resplendent with emojis.
