Ex-WWE Champion Believes Hall Of Fame Likely After Vince McMahon Exit

Vince McMahon WWE

WWE and WCW veteran Sycho Sid believes he could finally enter the Hall of Fame in the wake of Vince McMahon’s departure.

Sid Eudy, better known as Sid Vicious and later Sycho Sid, is one of the more memorable stars of the 1990s due to his size and intensity. Over the course of his career, Sid held both the WCW and then-WWF World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions each. He was also involved in high-profile feuds with the likes of The Undertaker, Diesel, and Hulk Hogan.

Despite seeming to have a Hall of Fame-worthy career behind him, Sid has never been inducted into the hallowed halls, something that has puzzled fans. During an appearance on the Attitude Era podcast, the star revealed that Vince McMahon “didn’t like him so much.”

Vince McMahon was forced to step away from WWE completely after being accused of sexual assault and trafficking in a bombshell lawsuit launched by former employee Janel Grant. With McMahon no longer a factor, Eudy believes he could now enter the Hall of Fame.

“You’d think that they would offer that. Again, Vince [McMahon] didn’t like me so much; I think that’s why they haven’t offered me that.

“But, with Vince being gone now, you’d think those people would say, ‘Hey, this guy, we still got him on contract. He is still making a little bit of money. It would help him if we did that,’ and it would help them as well.”

Sycho Sid Believes He Can Contribute In WWE

Sid believes that he still has a lot to offer WWE, explaining that he could return as a manager, or, failing that, become a teacher for up-and-coming talent.

“You would think they might want to do everything they could to promote something like that. That might be something fun to start, too. If you get back in, you might want to do something like a part-time deal, [be a] manager, or special — I think I was pretty good at interviews, too.

“There’s always a lot of people having a hard time with that. If I could teach them, maybe I could help them do their interviews.”
