Ex-WWE Million Dollar Champion Ted DiBiase Jr. is facing 45 years in prison.

In April 2023, DiBiase was arrested and charged with multiple counts, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, theft concerning federal programs, and money laundering.

The charges stem from allegations that he was involved in a scheme to steal millions of dollars from federal welfare programs in Mississippi, particularly funds aimed at helping needy families.

Prosecutors say DiBiase funneled money through his companies via sham contracts for services that were never provided. The government claims that some of these misused funds were spent on luxury items like a boat, a vehicle, and a house.

Throughout the process, DiBiase has maintained his innocence and is out on bail while awaiting trial. If convicted on all counts, he faces a potential maximum sentence of up to 45 years in prison.
