This former British Strongman wants to join WWE

Former strongman competitor, Britain’s Eddie Hall, was the winner of the World’s Strongest Man contest in 2017. At the event, Hall set a world record by deadlifting 500kg.

He has also dabbled in combat sports, competing in an MMA match in June 2024, where he notably won a 2 v 1 fight against the Neffati brothers. He followed this up with a 30-second TKO win over former strongman and mixed martial artist Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW in 2025.

Now, Hall may just have his sights set on joining WWE.

Eddie Hall Thinks It’s Time To Join WWE

The former strongman posted a photo of himself flanked by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on Facebook. The post was to the point and said:

It’s about time, WWE.

Triple H was recently heard stating on The Flagrant podcast that a possibility of UFC and Combat Sports crossovers was possible under the TKO ownership of these brands and WWE.

He specified that it matters which athletes are entertainers and which ones aren’t to know who would work in the Stamford-based promotion.

You know, you might. Look, it’s one of those things—it just depends on who’s an entertainer and who’s not… Look at Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey—there’s always that possibility.

Brock Lesnar, Rhonda Rousey and Ken Shamrock are all notable names of athletes who competed in combat sports in the past but were also equally successful in their respective WWE careers, leading many to believe that former Strongman Eddie Hall has a chance too if he has what it takes to shine.
