Former World Champion Reportedly Signs With WWE

WWE Octagon Jr.

According to the latest reports, Triple H has added another talented superstar to his ever-growing WWE roster.

Following a loaded weekend in Los Angeles that featured both Money in the Bank and WWE-AAA Worlds Collide last month in June, one name stood out from the rest. Octagon Jr. made waves with the WWE Universe and backstage officials, and now, it appears he’s officially signed with the company. As per Bodyslam.net, the 34-year-old luchador is no longer accepting indie bookings as he’s about to be a full-timer in the Triple-H-led company.

Octagon Jr. made his in-ring debut during Worlds Collide, teaming with Mr. Iguana and Aero Star in a thrilling six-man tag team match against Lince Dorado, Dragon Lee, and Cruz Del Toro. His flashy offense and crisp execution caught attention immediately. The buzz continued later that night when he challenged Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank. Despite falling short, thanks to Liv Morgan’s interference, Octagon Jr. made it clear he belonged under the WWE spotlight.

Octagon Jr. Brings International Gold And Lucha Flair To WWE

Octagon Jr. arrives in the Stamford-based promotion with a resume that speaks for itself. He is a former AAA Latin American Champion and AAA World Trios Champion, earning credibility in both singles and tag team divisions. Outside of AAA, he has competed in various promotions worldwide, including MLW, where he captured the MLW Caribbean Heavyweight Championship, and IWRG, where he held four separate title reigns.

Triple H has been making aggressive moves lately, with a clear eye on international growth and fresh matchups. Octagon’s reported signing continues the company’s recent push to incorporate more global talent, especially from the vibrant lucha libre scene. With stars like Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro already making noise, adding Octagon Jr. to the mix deepens the roster and brings even more diversity to WWE’s in-ring style.
