Ex-TNA Champion Officially Joins WWE Main Roster

Triple H WWE

A former champion in TNA has officially made the jump to WWE’s main roster, although the reveal might have been underwhelming.

There are big changes taking place in WWE as the main roster welcomes some new stars. Joe Hendry seems to have joined the main roster after his time in TNA came to an end, and he was signed by the company.

Former NXT Champion Trick Williams made his presence felt on the first SmackDown of 2026 as he joined the blue brand. That show was also notable for seeing the return of Randy Orton after months out of action, as well as the official return of Matt Cardona to WWE, as he finally consigned Zack Ryder to history once and for all.

The January 5th edition of Raw also saw another NXT star officially join the WWE main roster as Je’Von Evans signed his contract with the red brand. And now it’s been confirmed that NXT have lost yet another star.

Ex-TNA Champion Trades NXT For WWE Main Roster

At the end of NXT New Year’s Evil, the brand’s General Manager, Ava, addressed members of her roster. Ava told her talent that new opportunities are going to be available on the brand now that Lash Legend, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace are now on the WWE main roster.

Legend has been on SmackDown for months at this point, while Williams and Evans’ status had been explained on TV. Jordynne Grace had yet to be officially announced as moving up to the main roster, but Ava’s comments confirmed it.
