Controversial Ex-Superstar Makes Shocking Claim About WWE Management

Triple H WWE boss

WWE’s management has evolved, and superstars who worked under both Triple H and Vince McMahon are feeling the biggest difference.

Under Triple H’s rule, superstars have agreed that their schedule is much more flexible and they do get a say in certain aspects.

Furthermore, all superstars get days off during Christmas and Thanksgiving, and WWE shoots the episodes beforehand.

Matt Riddle gives his honest review of WWE management

The Original Bro worked with WWE when Vince McMahon was running the show. He was released from WWE in 2023, and during that time, The Big Man still had an extensive say over the schedule and creative direction.

During an interview with Inside The Ring, Matt Riddle discussed the flexibility of his schedule with the indies and the type of schedule he had to follow when he was working with WWE.

According to the former WWE Superstar, the global juggernaut had a way of ensuring that superstars agreed to the schedule. On the other hand, he has more control over his schedule in the independent industry.

Well, I think there’s differences in the sense of my schedule now. If I don’t want to do something, I don’t do it, you know? So when you’re with WWE, you don’t have that luxury. They might ask you to do something, but them asking is more like you’re going to say yes, and even if you do say no, they’ll figure out a way to make you say yes, you know, in their in their respectable way or respectful way, whatever, you know, right?

But yeah, working for them is more so you don’t have a choice. If they want you or they need you, you will be there, and that’s it. Well, my schedule now is people call me, I say yes or no, I agree to it, yes or no. And if I do, I’ll show up. If I don’t, I don’t. And uh, luckily, it’s a nice thing to have in my life now because for so long fighting in the UFC and wrestling with WWE, I never really had any control over my schedule, you know, which is basically I don’t have any control over my life. Wherever they tell me to go, I go, and I just do the best I can. But now it feels good to have a little bit more control.

Additionally, Matt Riddle revealed that he would like to return to WWE to finish his story with Randy Orton.
