Ex-NXT Champion Joins The Miz On Raw

The Miz Skull Crushing Finale on AJ Styles

The Miz has found a new ally as he seemingly gears up for a huge SummerSlam match with a former NXT Champion shockingly joining the star on Raw.

For weeks on Raw, The Miz has been caught up in a feud with another former WWE Champion, AJ Styles. However, The Most Must-See WWE Superstar looks to have another problem on the horizon with his former WrestleMania tag team partner and recent WWE signee Logan Paul setting his sights on him for SummerSlam.

On the 4th of July edition of Raw, The Miz faced off with AJ Styles once again as he looked to upstage The Phenomenal One. Ultimately though, it was AJ Styles who picked up the victory but the real story came after the match.

As Styles was celebrating his win he was attacked by former NXT Champion, Ciampa. Styles fought back and had Ciampa primed for a Styles Clash before falling victim to a Skull Crushing Finale by The Miz.

With The Miz and Ciampa standing tall, the two men shook hands over Styles’ prone body cementing their new alliance. WWE’s social media team even asked followers to name the new team.

Ciampa was a mainstay of the black and gold era of NXT, winning the NXT Championship twice as well as having an epic feud with his former tag team partner, Johnny Gargano.
