Ex-IMPACT World Champion “100% Cleared”
Steve Maclin is good to go!
The former IMPACT World Champion has revealed on social media that he is taking bookings starting in September. Following a report being published that Maclin’s wife Deonna Purrazzo stated that Maclin is on the way back, Maclin quoted the news with the following statement:
100% cleared & ready to cause #MayhemForAll. Accepting bookings Sept thru the end of the year! Where do you want to see #MACLIN? SteveMaclinBookings@gmail.com
Purrazzo provided the update on Monday while appearing on the Cultaholic podcast as part of Desert Island Graps. The former Knockouts Champion first teased that her husband would be back soon, but didn’t have a return date:
“He’s good. He just saw the doctor [Monday, August 14] and got some good news. He’s on the way up. He’s on his way to a return. I don’t know when that will be, but he’s on the up and up,”

Maclin has been out of action since June following a groin tear that took place on an international tour. Maclin competed in the main event, unsuccessfully challenging Alex Shelley for the World Title. The injury would also render Maclin unable to compete at Slammiversary.
When Did Steve Maclin Join IMPACT Wrestling?
Due to budget cuts and being associated with controversial wrestler Jackson Ryker, Maclin was released from his WWE contract in February 2021. Following the 90-day no-compete clause expiring, Maclin signed with IMPACT in June that year.
Due to Josh Alexander vacating the World Championship due to injury, Maclin and KUSHIDA would face off at the Rebellion pay-per-view to crown a new champion, which was won by Maclin and was his first major singles championship victory.
