Ex-Champion Claims WWE Can’t Afford Her After Evolution Snub
A former champion in WWE has claimed the company can’t afford her after being left off the all-female Evolution show.
Evolution returned for the first time in seven years as the women of WWE took centre stage. The show proved to be newsworthy as Naomi cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase to win the Women’s World Championship. Jade Cargill had picked up a win over Naomi in a no hold barred match earlier in the night before she later returned to turn IYO SKY’s title match with Rhea Ripley into a triple threat bout.
There was also a vindictive betrayal on the show as Blake Monroe cost Jordynne Grace the NXT Women’s Championship against Jacy Jayne. That came just one day after Monroe had teamed with Grace to defeat Fatal Influence at NXT Great American Bash.
WWE Keep Ignoring Mandy Rose
The show saw WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella return to the ring with plenty of former female stars watching the action from ringside. However, one name was notable by her absence.
Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose took to social media to joke about WWE not calling her while claiming they couldn’t afford her:
It’s okay, it never came but they can’t afford me anyway 🤪🤑🤡 #Evolution2 I’ll just watch & support from here! 🍷😎

Mandy Rose was infamously fired by WWE one day after she lost the NXT Women’s Title. The company had become aware of the explicit content she was selling on her exclusive content site, which led to her release.
