Ex-Champion Pitched To Replace Seth Rollins As Faction Leader After Injury

Seth Rollins Injured WWE

Paul Heyman cleared the air surrounding Seth Rollins’ injury.

During his match against LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Rollins attempted a moonsault off the middle rope, but landed awkwardly and immediately clutched his right knee.

Amidst the confusion, he agreed to finish the match, as Knight hit him with a BFT for a win.

Sadly, Rollins’ injury turned out to be legitimate, leaving a cloud hanging over his return.

On the July 14 episode of WWE RAW, “The Oracle” addressed Seth Rollins’ medical condition and his Money in the Bank briefcase.

He said ‘the Visionary’ had until next June to cash in, so they won’t be rushing anything, before directing the focus on Bron Breakker.

As it stands, the faction remains leaderless and with a question mark in its direction.

The panel of The Last Word pitched a name to replace Rollins during the recent episode, with Jonathan Coachman explaining why this individual was the ideal candidate.

I have a name that has been very good intellectually, has been very good playing mind games. You would be able to have a female in the group immediately by association. Karrion Kross. [33:45 onwards]

Karrion Kross has been involved in a storyline of his own, stalking and attacking Sami Zayn for weeks.

Seth Rollins And His Faction Discussed Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross has remained unhinged about his attacks on Zayn.

On the 7th July RAW episode, Breakker was scheduled to face Zayn in a singles match, but the latter was mercilessly attacked by the former NXT Champion, postponing their match for the night.

During a backstage segment, Seth Rollins discussed Kross, calling him a non-issue, when Breakker appeared upset.

While nothing was made out of it at the time, the latest discussion on The Last Word podcast could help plant seeds for Kross if WWE thought along similar lines.
