Joe opened All In: Texas with his “The Opps” stablemates Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata against Death Riders members Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Gabe Kidd.

Contested for the AEW Trios Tag Team Championships, the match witnessed great back-and-forth action inside the ring and outside.

The participants got into a slugfest in the closing minutes of the match before Joe hit Yuta with the Muscle Buster for a pinfall victory for his team and retaining the belts.

Yuta hit Hobbs repeatedly with a steel chair. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Samoa Joe had a chair wrapped around his neck by Claudio, who then stomped the chair, taking Joe out.

The ex-world champion was stretchered out immediately, with his stablemates in close quarters.
