Ex-AEW World Champion Is Allegedly WWE’s Mystery Man

The masked man who interfered in the men’s WWE WarGames match has sent waves through the industry.

Fans, critics, analysts, experts, and others have been trying to figure out the identity of the mystery man.

Certain names have been considered, such as Austin Theory and Seth Rollins. Another name that has been theorized about is former AEW World Champion.

WWE’s mystery man is Chris Jericho

On Story Time with Dutch Mantell, Mantell explored the situation where WWE brought in “Chris Jericho” from AEW to interfere in the match. However, he also questioned how WWE would work that out with All Elite Wrestling for just that one evening.

I think it’s Chris Jericho. could be wrong, but that’s what having a hooded man is supposed to do. It’s supposed to make you think, who is it? So, we’re thinking, too, but I’m thinking, wait a minute. If Chris is still under contract to uh Tony. What kind of deal did they work back and forth for him to appear there? See what I mean? Would he have to be released from a contract for one day?

It was pointed out that WWE wouldn’t need to actually bring Chris Jericho for the moment. A hooded and masked figure could be a stuntman doing the work. The global juggernaut would only need Chris Jericho in the flesh when it’s time for the revelation.

Chris Jericho’s AEW contract is supposedly nearing its end.
