A former AEW star is close to bringing a premature end to their wrestling career as they battle health issues.

Marko Stunt was a popular figure during the early days of All Elite Wrestling but two years on from his exit from the company, it looks like his wrestling career could be in doubt.

Stunt took to social media to reveal that health issues are causing him to consider a permanent exit from the ring:

Gonna be super transparent: Got some health stuff going on. Idk how much more I’m gonna physically wrestle, which kills me. I still got a bit left in me, but it’s also why I’m so focused on @PWAdrenalineright now. If I can’t wrestle, I know PWA can be a place to still create.

When Was Marko Stunt In AEW?

Marko Stunt was a part of the inaugural AEW pay-per-view back in May 2019 where he competed in the Casino Battle Royale. As Stunt settled into the company he became a part of Jurassic Express alongside Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus.

However when Christian Cage joined the company and became aligned with the group, Marko Stunt began appearing less and less for the company and as it turned out, his days in the promotion were numbered as he left AEW when his contract expired in May 2022.

Stunt made a shock return to AEW to challenge his old partner Jack Perry for the TNT Championship on the 6th of July 2024 edition of Collision.

Marko Stunt has hit out at AEW over the way his exit was handled as he claimed he received no communication before being let go.
