Ex-AEW Star Wants “Substantial Zeroes” To Sign With WWE

One former AEW star has not ruled out signing a deal with WWE but says they’d need “substantial zeroes” on their contract to do so.

Cody Rhodes shocked the wrestling world in 2022 where he became the first EVP to leave AEW before he rejoined WWE at WrestleMania 38. Since then Rhodes has finished his story by capturing the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40 and at SummerSlam he had some help to overcome Solo Sikoa in a ‘Bloodline Rules’ match.

Before Rhodes made it to the ring, however, the American Nightmare came across a familiar face from his time in AEW as his former coach Arn Anderson was on hand to give him some words of encouragement. Anderson told Rhodes that help was on the way to fend off The Bloodline and sure enough, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton fought off Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa before Roman Reigns made his shock return to WWE to wipe out Solo Sikoa.

Arn Anderson Not Ruling Out WWE Return After AEW Exit

Speaking on his latest ARN podcast on AdFreeShows.com, Arn Anderson was asked if he’d consider signing a new deal with WWE to return to the company but it all depends on the money:

How much is it going to be for? Never say never. Get some substantial zeroes on my sh*t and we’ll talk.

Following the closure of WCW in 2001, Arn Anderson joined WWE as a road agent while making the occasional appearance on TV for the company. The Enforcer of the Four Horsemen was released by the company in early 2019 before he made his debut for AEW in August of that year where he dropped Shawn Spears with a spinebuster to help Cody Rhodes defeat him.
