Ex-AEW Coach Furious At Shocking WrestleDream Spot

Jon Moxley AEW Death Riders

A former AEW coach has blasted the company after a shocking moment at WrestleDream, claiming that lives could be at risk.

WrestleDream was a night where the in-ring action took centre stage in AEW with several huge matches. Adam Page retained his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe as he looked to prove himself once and for all to the Samoan Submission Machine.

Page and Joe shook hands after the bout, but the champion was then brutally taken out by Joe and The Opps afterwards.

Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada moved one step closer to finally imploding as they failed to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Brodido. Mercedes Mone captured her eleventh title as she won the Interim ROH Women’s Television Title from Mina Shirakawa. That came after Toni Storm failed to regain the AEW Women’s World Championship from Kris Statlander.

The night’s main event saw Jon Moxley face Darby Allin in an I Quit match that had everyone terrified for the health of Allin. With Allin refusing to quit no matter what, the Death Riders then appeared to try and finally finish him off once and for all.

Former Coach Urges Mothers To Switch Off AEW

Moxley used a taser on Allin before the group filled a fishtank with water, with Moxley then trying to drown his opponent. And this moment has caused quite a stir.

Former AEW coach Sarah Stock took to social media to express her outrage, claiming that the spot was putting lives at risk:

You know who should stop this? Mothers. With their remote control. This is worse than the plastic bag over the head. Kids are going to end up dead trying this stuff at home. @aew

Eventually, Sting made his return to AEW to smash up the fish tank, take out the Death Riders, and hand his bat to Darby Allin to help him finally vanquish Jon Moxley.
