Netflix has provided more information on WWE’s move to the streaming giant.

In the US, WWE Raw will move to Netflix in January 2025 while international fans will see all WWE content heading to the streaming giant at the same time. Since the news was announced, many have wondered what the move will entail. Now, Netflix has answered some key questions regarding the new partnership.

First, regarding cost, Netflix says that any WWE content will be part of the regular subscription for the service, with no extras involved. Shows will be available to watch live or immediately after the live stream ends. However, the company notes that people with devices that don’t support live viewing will have to wait a few days to watch on-demand. In other good news, fans will be able to download shows for offline viewing 48 hours after they air.

With the changes, the WWE Network will come to an end after a decade, this has left many wondering what will happen to the extensive archive available on the current service. Netflix has promised that “select” archival content will be rolled out beginning in January 2025, starting with Raw for the US and additional content elsewhere.

“In January 2025, Netflix will begin to roll out select WWE archival content on service. WWE Raw archival content will be available for viewing in the United States, with additional archival content available in the countries listed above.”

Unfortunately, this appears to back up previous reports that classic non-WWE wrestling won’t be making the move to Netflix, at least for the time being.

Netflix Launching New WWE Behind-The-Scenes Series

As well as Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and Premium Live Events, Netflix has announced a new series going behind the scenes of WWE. Little is currently known about the show, but it is set to feature the likes of Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley.
