Ethan Page Wins WWE NXT Title

Ethan Page is back on top in NXT after he managed to put gold back around his waist.

Ethan Page had a point to prove when he made the jump to WWE, as his floundering AEW career was mercifully put out of its misery. Less than a month after his debut match as part of the NXT roster, Page achieved his goal when he captured the NXT Championship at Heatwave in 2024.

Page’s title reign only lasted three months before Trick Williams reclaimed his gold, but that has not stopped All Ego from coveting another title on the brand.

Immediately after Ricky Saints captured the NXT North American Title, Ethan Page attacked his fellow AEW alumnus and made clear he wanted that championship. Since then, Page and Saints have traded assaults leading to a match being made between the two men with the title on the line on the May 27th edition of NXT.

The match could best be described as absolute chaos, and there was a frightening moment when Page dropped Saints throat first over a steel chair.

Saints managed to grit his way through the rest of the match but ultimately, a huge lariat and the Twist of Hate from Ethan Page was enough to put Saints away with Page winning the NXT North American Championship for the very first time.

Later in the evening, Ethan Page tried to celebrate his victory but he was quickly cut off by Je’Von Evans, Rey Fenix, and Laredo Kid who will all challenge Page for his title in a fatal four-way match at Worlds Collide on June 7th.
