Ethan Page Thankful For WWE Legend In NXT
Ethan Page is glad to be under the learning tree of a particular WWE legend while competing on the NXT brand.
It has been a breakout year for Ethan Page since the former AEW & TNA star landed in WWE as part of the NXT brand in May 2024.
While the NXT brand is full of young talent who sometimes don’t have much experience in a wrestling ring, Page is an 18-year pro who also ran independent wrestling shows for many years as well.
Ethan Page won the NXT Title at Heatwave in Toronto (near his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario) and held it for 86 days before Trick Williams won it back on NXT’s TV premiere on the CW.
In an interview with Wrestlezone, Ethan Page spoke about how he is thankful for NXT Producer/Coach Terry Taylor, who was a successful wrestler for many years even though some people might remember him most for his ill-fated run as the Red Rooster in WWE.
“I’m super thankful for Terry Taylor. His thoughts and my thoughts definitely align, but I’m wrong a lot of the time and not because he tells me I’m wrong but because when I hear him speak, I understand that I’m wrong.
I’m very grateful for the guidance that he is giving on a daily basis. He’s very helpful to my career and I’m very very very thankful that we were able to work together and that he would coach me. I hope no matter where my career goes, even if it’s outside of the WWE, I hope that when I call he’ll answer just because the guy is full of gold. The knowledge he has is worth gold.”
