Promotion Gives Eric Bischoff “Total Creative Control”

Eric Bischoff Recalls How WCW Signed A WWE Hall Of Famer For

Eric Bischoff is back.

Given his last significant role in wrestling ended after just a handful of months in 2019, it appeared unlikely that Eric Bischoff would return to the industry in a significant way.

Even Bischoff himself has admitted he wouldn’t work with either WWE or AEW and is more than content with life as a podcaster on the outside looking in.

However, the wrestling industry has never played by traditional rules.

Eric Bischoff To Work With MLW

Paul Walter Hauser appeared on the latest episode of Wise Choices with Eric Bischoff, and things quickly took a turn. During the show, Hauser called MLW boss Court Bauer and asked whether he’d be interested in working with Bischoff.

Bauer jumped at the chance and said Bischoff should come to MLW One Shot in New York in December and he can call the shots. The promotion later confirmed that Bischoff will have “total creative control” on the show.

On this special edition of Wise Choices, Eric welcomes Hollywood film actor and MLW wrestler Paul Walter Hauser to the show. Paul shares what movie projects he’s working on and his formula for success. He also discusses his love for professional wrestling and how it’s evolved into becoming a part of MLW. Plus, there’s a surprise at the end that caught even Eric off guard.

MLW One Shot is set to take place on December 5th at the Melrose Ballroom. It will be the third event to be run under the One Shot banner.
