Eric Bischoff Heaps Praise On AEW Match, Labels Star The

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff expressed high praise for fellow Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett and current AEW star Bryan Danielson following their performances on the August 7th episode of AEW Dynamite.

During a segment of his podcast, “83 Weeks,” Eric Bischoff lauded Jarrett as one of the best veterans in the business today.

Is there anybody better, a veteran at this point in time? He doesn’t seem to have lost really too much.

Bischoff remarked, noting that while Jarrett might be slightly slower now and takes “just a hair longer to get from point A to point Z,” his overall performance remains highly impressive. However, Bischoff shared his personal preference for a different match style, expressing his thoughts on the hardcore nature of the bout.

Here’s my only comment, and this is selfish; it was a hardcore match, falls count anywhere, whatever the rules were, I can’t remember, it’s nonsense.

Bischoff went on to explain that he would have preferred to see a more traditional wrestling match between Jarrett and Danielson.

I would’ve liked it to be more of a traditional match that really showcases not only Jeff’s amazing abilities but Bryan’s as well.

He concluded by reflecting on what he believes was a missed opportunity for both wrestlers to truly showcase their skills in the ring.

As opposed to a hardcore match, which really doesn’t give you the opportunity to appreciate what they’re really capable of doing.
