Eric Bischoff Believes That This WWE Hall Of Famer Should Be An NXT Coach
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff shared his thoughts on fellow Hall of Famer Sean Waltman, suggesting that Waltman would be an excellent addition to the WWE Performance Center as a full-time coach.
Speaking on his podcast, 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff reflected on working alongside Waltman during the filming of the upcoming A&E reality series WWE Legends & Future Greats. He praised Waltman’s coaching skills and dedication to developing young wrestling talent.
“He’s so good at it, he’s passionate about it, he really, really is good. I can’t imagine that there’s no role for him down in Florida.”
Despite his confidence in Waltman’s abilities, Bischoff acknowledged that a full-time coaching position might not align with Waltman’s current lifestyle. Known to fans as X-Pac, Waltman has seemingly embraced life outside the wrestling business.
“Sean’s married, he’s got a wife who’s got a great job in Hollywood, and they’ve got a home and he’s got a great life. Just two, three weeks ago when we were together, he was living a great life.”
While Bischoff believes Waltman could thrive as a coach, he speculated that Waltman might prefer occasional appearances for WWE instead of committing to a full-time role.
“He may just be ready to make appearances every now and then. I know how that feels; you still love the business, and you still have a passion for it, but it’s tempered by reality.”
Which Wrestler Does Eric Bischoff Believe Had The Most Believable Character In All Of Wrestling History?
Eric Bischoff spoke about how he believed that Big Van Vader had the most believable character in wrestling. Bischoff said that due to Vader’s impressive size and physicality, he was the most believable character in wrestling, but he did note that Vader could be difficult to work with at times and likened him to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in terms of his personality backstage.
