Eric Bischoff Being Considered For WWE Network Stone Cold Podcast

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Eric Bischoff is the current name being tossed around for a future guest on an upcoming episode of the WWE Network edition of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast.

He would be a timely candidate when you factor in that he is the special guest for the second volume of the Monday Night War which is being released soon on DVD and Blu-ray.

Personally, I don’t think Bischoff is a bad potential candidate for a podcast that has produced a string of memorable guests (I include Paige in that too because the backstory behind her pursuit into professional wrestling and eventually WWE is a remarkably inspirational tale).

Naturally, the numerous corporate battles between WWE and WCW will be discussed, but it will also be interesting to see if Austin asks tougher questions about where he currently stands with Vince McMahon and if the doors will ever be opened again for Bischoff to portray an on-screen character or do something creatively behind the scenes.

It should also be noted that Bischoff has appeared on the podcast before (just not on the WWE Network variation which typically airs after an episode of Raw) and that he has good conversational chemistry with Austin. Past episodes between these two have been fun so this one should deliver some interesting information to complement those previous podcasts. Also expect discussions of alcohol.
