Enzo Amore Reunites With AEW Star After 3 Years
Enzo Amore got a popular tag team back together.
While Big Cass signed with WWE in 2009, it wouldn’t be until he was paired with Enzo Amore in 2013 that he gained significant momentum.
Over the next four years, the duo became one of the most tag teams in the company after spells in NXT and the main roster. However, in 2017, the team was disbanded, and they went their separate ways. Cass was released by the company in June 2018 as he battled addiction and mental health issues.
The star eventually rebuilt his career and signed with AEW where he performs under the name Big Bill.
Enzo Amore was released by WWE in January 2018 in relation to allegations of sexual assault. A police investigation was later dropped due to insufficient evidence.
Enzo Amore Links Up With Big Bill
Just under three years after their last appearance together at a small event hosted by The Hardys, Amore, and Big Bill reunited on the Jericho Cruise. The pair joined with Chris Jericho and Brian Keith to defeat the Grizzled Young Veterans and MxM Collection.
Ahead of the match, Amore got on the microphone to perform his and Bill’s signature entrance.
Meanwhile, it’s been revealed that Joe Hendry missed a planned appearance on the Jericho Cruise after taking part in the Royal Rumble.
Hendry had been due to head off with the cruise in Florida, but plans changed when he was booked for the men’s Rumble match in Indianapolis. However, once the clash became clear, it was agreed between the star and Jericho he could still link up with the cruise after the Rumble.
But despite his best efforts after flying from Indianapolis to Miami, Hendry was unable to fly to the Dominican Republic to join the cruise because he didn’t have the correct paperwork. Hendry spent all of Sunday trying to get to the DR, but all of his attempts came to nothing. He was replaced at a Q&A on the cruise by AEW star Toni Storm.
