Elektra Lopez Looking For Good News After WWE Exit

Following a spate of releases from the WWE roster, Elektra Lopez has now broken her silence to confirm her status.

On February 7, it was reported that Cedric Alexander, Paul Ellering, Akam, Rezar, and Blair Davenport had been released by WWE. This was followed by the news that Sonya Deville had been told her contract would not be renewed.

Deville will be able to sign elsewhere as soon as her deal expires in the coming weeks. As continues to be the case, those who have been released are unable to sign for another company for 90 days.

It was later reported that Legada del Fantasma’s Elektra Lopez has also been released by WWE. Her profile has been moved to the ‘Alumni’ section on WWE’s website.

Elektra Lopez Busy For The Next 90 Days

Elektra Lopez has now broken her silence on the situation on social media alluding to her 90-day non-compete clause:

Heard any good news lately? No? Well, make it quick—I’ve got a packed schedule for the next 90 days

Lopez signed with WWE in early 2021 and in August of that year, she aligned herself with Legado del Fantasma. Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro left NXT one year later when they headed to SmackDown with Lopez being replaced by Zelina Vega.

Following a split that led to the LWO taking in Wilde and Del Toro, Legado del Fantasma regrouped with Escobar, Angel, and Berto. Elektra Lopez rejoined the group on SmackDown in January 2024. Despite her joining the blue brand, Lopez only competed in two matches on SmackDown in 2024.
