El Hijo Del Vikingo To Face WWE Star At Worlds Collide

El Hijo del Vikingo will be in action at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide.

During NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend, it was announced that AAA would be joining forces with WWE for Worlds Collide. In the past, the event was used as a showcase for NXT UK talent to test themselves against the American brand.

However, when NXT UK was closed in 2022, the event disappeared from the schedule.

Just hours after its return was confirmed, it was shockingly revealed that WWE had acquired AAA, setting up a host of exciting new matches in the process.

El Hijo Del Vikingo To Face WWE Raw Star

During Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, it was announced that AAA star El Hijo del Vikingo will face Chad Gable at Worlds Collide on June 7. The Mexican star was in attendance at the show.

At WrestleMania 41, Vikingo got physically involved as El Grande Americano took on Rey Fenix. El Grande Americanco may or may not be Chad Gable under a mask.

The only other match announced for the show so far will see Legado Del Fantasma take on El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown.

During the special, it was also announced that WWE Evolution will return on July 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. It will be the first time the company has held its all-female Premium Live Event since October 2018.
