Edge Comments On Unique Entrance Look For WrestleMania 39
The “Rated R Superstar” Edge has commented on his unique entrance at WrestleMania while thanking many people who played a part in it.
At this year’s WrestleMania 39 event, WWE Hall of Famer Edge had a Hell in a Cell match with Finn Balor that had the longest build of any match at this year’s WrestleMania. It was in June 2022 when Balor and The Judgment Day destroyed Edge, so this match was ten months in the making.
Finn Balor brought back a special look for the event as the “Demon” Finn Balor character. During the match, Edge threw a ladder at Balor’s head which led to a huge cut on Finn’s head. Balor revealed that he needed 14 staples in his head.
Edge had a special entrance with a metal head along with some wings that were a part of it. It said “Brood Edge” on the screen as well. There were rumors that we might see Edge with his former 1999 Brood ally Gangrel, but there was no sign of him.
On Instagram, Edge spoke about his unique entrance while competing at his 14th WrestleMania as a WWE superstar.
“For 9 years I thought I’d never perform at WrestleMania again. This was my 14th as a performer. It will never be lost on me how lucky I am to have this back. I’m also lucky to have had an absolutely amazing opponent in @finnbalor One of the very best. And one of the toughest s.o.b’s I’ve ever stepped in the ring with. Yes, he’s that good.”
“I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention the amazing team who made my fever dream of an entrance a reality. Sylvia Jensen @wornstar is my rock star. She’s the best. Bar none. Who else can I say, hey so how about some devil wings? @maineventgear for making me look like a main eventer time and time again.”

Edge would go on to win the Hell in a Cell match against Balor, which likely puts an end to the rivalry at least for now.
