The WWE Hall of Fame team of Edge and Beth Phoenix found a way to shatter the hopes of The Judgment Day as they picked up a huge win over Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor.

Edge and Beth Phoenix picked up their issues with The Judgment Day when they both returned to WWE television at the 2023 Royal Rumble. But following Elimination Chamber, they’ll be hoping to move on following a big victory.

The Rated-R Superstar and The Glamazon had to deal with a numbers disadvantage throughout the match with Dominik Mysterio causing a nuisance at ringside. At one point Mysterio through a pair of brass knuckles to his ‘mami’ who clocked Edge with them for a close two count.

Beth Phoenix avoided disaster at the hands of Rhea Ripley, the steel steps, and a chair to deliver a Glam Slam to her on the outside of the ring. That left Balor at the mercy of both of his opponents and they finished him off with a move very familiar to AEW stars FTR – The Shatter Machine.

The move was used when Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler – then known as The Revival were part of WWE – and is still used by FTR in AEW where they renamed it in honour of the late Brodie Lee as The Big Rig.

The relationship between Edge, Phoenix, and FTR is well known with the AEW team previously being name-checked on WWE TV during Edge’s deeply personal feud with Randy Orton.
