Eddie Kingston Continues Beef With Concept Of Health Insurance

Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston is working hard.

Eddie Kingston hasn’t wrestled since losing his NJPW STRONG Openweight Title to Gabe Kidd at Resurgence in May.

During a brutal no-ropes Last Man Standing match, Kingston took a suplex from the ring apron through a table at ringside. However, as Kingston crashed through the table, his knee and lower leg cracked into the steel barrier.

The brutal impact left the Mad King with a broken leg and torn ACL and meniscus.

Eddie Kingston Working Furiously

In a new update on his recovery from PWInsider, Mike Johnson noted that Kingston has been “furiously pushing himself through physical therapy” in an effort to get back as soon as possible. However, he’s been warned by doctors that he likely won’t be cleared before June 2025.

When reached for comment by Johnson and PWInsider, Kingston simply noted “Health insurance is a scam.”

This isn’t the first time Eddie Kingston has vented his frustration at the insurance industry, having previously commented “Insurance is a fraud.”
