ECW Legend Makes Surprise Appearance At WWE WrestleMania

ECW met WWE at WrestleMania 40.

Given that WrestleMania is in Philadelphia, it’s perhaps no surprise that things got a little extreme. After Snoop Dogg was revealed as the special guest commentator for the Philadelphia Street Fight between The Pride and The Final Testament, the match was given a special guest referee.

None other than ECW legend and WWE Hall of Famer, Bubba Ray Dudley.

The match was a frantic mess that had fans hooked from beginning to end, with Bubba Ray having fun in his new role donning his signature glasses while The Pride performed his famous spots.

When all was said and done it was The Pride left celebrating.

Ahead of the show it was reported that Snoop Dogg would be on hand to commentate on the match and announce the attendance.

While the action in and around the ring was fast and furious, Snoop broke it down as only he can, while cementing an unlikely relationship with Michael Cole. The Hip Hop legend’s sheer bewilderment at the chaos in front of him, and the sight of tables breaking every which way will grace highlight reels for years to come.
