Drew McIntyre Is A Sad Man After Another WWE Loss
Drew McIntyre has shared his reaction to John Cena’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber.
It proved to be a disappointing night for the former World Heavyweight Champion in Toronto, Canada on 1st March as he failed to secure a title bout at WrestleMania 41 after being despatched from the men’s Elimination Chamber match by former Judgment Day leader, Damian Priest.
Having promised to ruin John Cena’s night in the build up to the Premium Live Event, McIntyre was instead pinned by the same man who eliminated him from the Royal Rumble match on 1st February and could be set to seek retribution at the ‘Showcase Of The Immortals’ in April.
McIntyre took to social media after the show to vent his feelings about Cena’s turn whilst also referencing rap star Travis Scott and his own pinfall exit from the evening’s main event:
“Cena the Hypocrite
Travis Scott existing
And another roll up”
McIntyre rounded off the post by sharing a photograph of Japanese star Tomohiro Ishii, best known for his time in NJPW and AEW, whilst revealing his sadness at the turn of events:
“I’m a sad man. Write whatever you want about me.”
Drew McIntyre Delivers Special Gift To Michael Cole
Drew McIntyre began Elimination Chamber weekend in Toronto by delivering a very special gift to veteran announcer Michael Cole.
‘The Scottish Warrior’ has long shown his disdain for Cole’s work and continued his disrespect for the popular long-tenured commentator by refusing to answer his questions at the Elimination Chamber Kick-Off.
McIntyre instead would accuse Cole of over-excitement at John Cena’s appearances and gifted the 58 year-old a lip balm to use for a very specific reason.
