Drew McIntyre Pushing For Special WWE Appearance

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is looking for a special homecoming.

On March 23, Monday Night Raw heads to Glasgow, Scotland as the ‘Road To WrestleMania’ continues. However, at least on paper, WWE’s most famous Scottish star won’t be in attendance. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been trying to do something about it.

Back in February, McIntyre was moved from Raw to SmackDown, meaning he won’t feature on the UK leg of the tour until SmackDown on March 28 in London.

In a new interview with The Daily Star, McIntyre was asked about potentially appearing on Raw, and he revealed he’s been shouting at all the right people to make it happen.

“Let’s just say I’ve been shouting about it. You never know what’s going to happen in WWE but I’ve not been quiet about it for the past few months so we’ll see and keep our fingers and toes crossed because I promise you, the right people have been getting shouted at by me.”

McIntyre last wrestled in Glasgow back in June when he challenged Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Plans For Drew McIntyre Still Uncertain

In February, it was reported that Drew McIntyre was moved to SmackDown to face Cody Rhodes. The report noted that a rivalry between the pair had been scheduled back in 2023, but those plans were changed.

However, it’s been reported that should John Cena beat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania the rivalry would be scrapped.

In recent weeks, McIntyre has again found himself at odds with Damian Priest, with the pair repeatedly brawling on SmackDown. Although the match is yet to be officially announced, it’s believed they’ll meet in the ring at WrestleMania.
