Drew McIntyre Takes Massive Shot At WWE Locker Room

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is not looking to make friends with his colleagues in WWE, as he calls out those that he thinks don’t belong in the company.

Drew McIntyre reached new heights in WWE during his feud with CM Punk as he embraced being an unrelenting hater. McIntyre has now continued in that vein as he gets ready for a headline-grabbing match at SummerSlam. The former WWE Champion will team with Logan Paul to face Randy Orton and Jelly Roll.

While not all wrestling fans are thrilled with the celebrity involvement on a major show, for McIntyre, he’s wondering why so many of his fellow WWE Superstars have any involvement in wrestling at all.

Drew McIntyre Thinks 85% Of WWE Stars Don’t Belong

Speaking on Impaulsive with Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre explained why he thinks the majority of his colleagues in WWE have no business being in the company due to how they look:

For me, let me get into the environments where I can show that we’re not a bunch of morons, we’re actually college-educated and can string sentences together. We know how to build a brand. The more you put me in those situations, especially with WWE….it drives me nuts when I see some of our guys on some of these huge public platforms, huge TV shows.

These days, no offense, but 85% of our guys don’t look like they should be in WWE or (on) Netflix. My buddies will contact me, ‘I just turned on the wrestling to see what you are up to. Logan Paul is in there and he’s killing it. Roman Reigns, what a star when he comes on the screen. Comes off the screen, and he’s a giant. These other guys look like they should be serving me my fast food at McDonald’s. When it looks like I could kick their ass, it takes me out of it.’

I’m like, [Mockingly] ‘They’re good at wrestling. Eventually, you’ll connect with them.’ ‘I’m not going to watch it long enough. I’m going to change the channel.’ Guys, get in the freakin gym or get something that grabs their attention.
