Drew McIntyre Makes Surprising Prediction About Logan Paul’s WWE Future
Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre are set for an unexpected alliance at WWE SummerSlam.
The newly formed tag team will face off against the team of Randy Orton and celebrity guest Jelly Roll. This tag team match has sparked excitement and intrigue among fans, given the star power and unique personalities involved.
As both teams prepare for one of WWE’s marquee events, all eyes are on how McIntyre and Paul will work together in the ring.
Drew McIntyre Predicts Babyface Turn for Logan Paul
In a recent IMPAULSIVE podcast appearance, Drew McIntyre made a surprising and insightful prediction about his SummerSlam tag partner’s long-term trajectory in WWE. Drawing from his own experience and knowledge of fan psychology, McIntyre said that Logan Paul’s current run as a brash, outspoken heel will eventually set him up for a dramatic babyface turn.
Everything’s been a slam dunk so far. Just keep doing what you’re doing, and not just in the present, but okay, ‘Where is this going to get me? What’s the next evolution of Logan Paul?’ Because eventually people don’t believe it, and you’re going to laugh when I say it, marks out there, but eventually you’re going to turn babyface like Dominik [Mysterio] is doing right now. There’s a fine line between love and hate. And eventually you’re going to be getting wildly cheered down the line.”
McIntyre elaborated further: “So it’s just doing what you’re doing, running your mouth, being yourself, having a laugh, making this thing with us as big as possible, and just keep making those slam dunks because eventually in a couple of years, as I say, that line between love and hate is so thin, it’s just going to go the other way, and you’re not going to be like, ‘Oh god, okay, good guy!’
McIntyre’s comments point to a common phenomenon in professional wrestling, where a hated villain can transform into a beloved hero as audiences grow to respect their talent and charisma. He referenced Dominik Mysterio, who has also undergone such a transformation in WWE, as an example of how fan attitudes can shift over time.
