Drew McIntyre Goes Dark On Social Media Fuelling WWE Exit Speculation
Drew McIntyre has found great success in WWE since he returned for his second spell in the company but reports have suggested that cash and creative have left the star considering his future.
It was reported in recent days that Drew McIntyre is in the last year of his WWE contract with the two sides said to be “not even close” on a new deal according to PWInsider.
Speaking on PWTorchVIP, Wade Keller noted that McIntyre is apparently unhappy with both cash and creative in WWE as he considers his future:
“We alluded to this that there’s been talk that he is unhappy with his current situation in WWE and I’m hearing it’s kind of a mix of creative and money and what kind of offer he’s getting for a renewal. It sounds like WWE is taking seriously the possibility that he is going to let his deal run out rather than agree to something that he believes is less than he deserves or less than he what he thinks he has coming.”
Drew McIntyre is believed to have around nine months left on his current WWE deal so there is plenty of time for the former WWE Champion to decide to stay put. However, now McIntyre has left fans wondering where his future lies after deleting his profile and header pictures on Twitter and removing references from WWE – the only one that remains is in his handle itself.
McIntyre recently missed the April 7th of SmackDown due to a “health issue” and it remains uncertain when he will return to the ring.
