Drew McIntyre Frustrated By Fresh WWE Slight

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has issued a chilling warning ahead of 2025 after being overlooked for a recent WWE commercial.

‘The Scottish Warrior’ has made no secret of his disgruntlement with WWE management in recent months, a situation that will only be amplified after the company opted not to feature the former World Heavyweight Champion in a high profile advertisement of the upcoming move of WWE Raw to Netflix.

WWE’s flagship show will appear on the huge streaming Netflix for at least the next decade after a $500 million dollar per-year deal was agreed.

McIntyre took to social media to post a video offering his reaction to the snub including sarcastically suggesting that his year had not been successful enough to earn him a spot in the advertisement:

“It’s all good, maybe I don’t look enough like a Superstar. Maybe my 2024 just wasn’t successful enough.”

At this point McIntyre flashed a graphic on screen of his 2024 accomplishments which included winning the men’s Elimination Chamber match in Perth, Australia on 24th February and defeating Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL.

The Ayr-born Superstar then went on the deliver an ominous warning to his rivals for the upcoming year:

“It’s all good. You don’t have to hand me anything. What I want, I’ll take.

I’ll see them on social media, they’re crying about it, and then they’re whining on the mic and I’ll crush them there. Then inevitably they’ll try to fight me, but I’m six-foot-five, 280 pounds, and I’ll crush them there, too.

So, I guess we’ll have to step up in 2025, and that’s exactly what we’ll do. So, until then, happy new year, everybody.”

Real Reason For Recent Drew McIntyre Absence Explained

Drew McIntyre spent multiple weeks away from WWE following his defeat to CM Punk in a brutal Hell In The Cell match at Bad Blood on October 4th, eventually returning with a brutal attack on Sami Zayn during the 2nd of December edition of Raw.

WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H, recently explained the Scottish Superstars’ mysterious absence, revealing that it was geared at allowing the powerful star a break rather than an enforced injury sabbatical.
