Drew McIntyre Reveals Final WWE SummerSlam Status
After days of worry about missing a huge tag team match at SummerSlam, Drew McIntyre has revealed where he’ll be for WWE’s biggest party of the summer.
Drew McIntyre is set to team up with Logan Paul at SummerSlam as part of a match that has received a lot of attention, as they will face Randy Orton and Jelly Roll. However, after returning to the UK to attend a friend’s wedding, Drew McIntyre was not allowed to board his flight back to the United States.
An irate Drew McIntyre explained the situation in a social media post, noting that because he didn’t have his US passport, he couldn’t board, and as a result, his match at SummerSlam is now in serious doubt. The Miz already threw his hat into the ring as McIntyre’s potential replacement as WWE considered plan B.
But now it looks like it’s good news for the Scottish star.
Drew McIntyre Heading To SummerSlam
Taking to social media, Drew McIntyre released a new video revealing that he’ll be in town for SummerSlam as he also took a shot at The Miz for offering to step in:
The update is here. It really wasn’t looking good, it’s not felt good. I’ve seen Miz, little selfish of you offering to take my place. Mike The Miz…Mizark? Is at the last name? Missionary Mike? It doesn’t matter, I’ve got an update for you Mike. The answer is absolutely…
At this point, Logan Paul takes over:
Hell no! Think imma partner with Miz dude? I gotta Scottish warrior stupid!
McIntyre continued:
Jelly Roll, you tried to get me stuck in the UK, I know you were behind it but this guy’s got more powerful friends than you. He sent the jet and this Saturday, you and Randy are screwed.
Update on the situation since everyone keeps asking.#SummerSlamhttps://t.co/HboROjP3vSpic.twitter.com/eEgSf90D78
