Drew McIntyre Takes Massive Dig At Jimmy Uso & Cody Rhodes

Drew McIntyre had a word of warning for his WWE rivals Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso.

It was an eventful night for Drew McIntyre on WWE SmackDown in Tempe. The show started with the WWE Champion Cody Rhodes doing an in-ring promo about having to defend the championship against McIntyre again at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st.

McIntyre decided to interrupt the promo, which frustrated Rhodes, who wanted to fight him right there. Before McIntyre could get into the ring, Jimmy Uso attacked McIntyre at ringside because Jimmy thinks that McIntyre injured Jimmy’s cousin Jacob Fatu last week on SmackDown. McIntyre has denied the allegations.

The altercation between McIntyre and Uso led to the two men being put in the main event of SmackDown in a No Disqualification match.

During their No DQ match, McIntyre and Uso used chairs as weapons, they fought into the crowd and Jimmy even put Drew through a table with a Samoan Drop, which the fans loved.

Unfortunately for Jimmy, the “Scottish Warrior” McIntyre stopped a top rope splash attempt by throwing a chair at Jimmy. McIntyre followed up with a Claymore Kick to win the match.

After the match, McIntyre put a chair around Jimmy’s throat and trash talked him. WWE Officials and referees stopped that.

Cody Rhodes ran into the ring wearing his tracksuit. Rhodes punched McIntyre a bunch of times and tossed him over the barricade at ringside. Rhodes checked on Jimmy in the ring. That’s when a recovered McIntyre rolled back in the ring, Rhodes turned around and McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick to put Rhodes down. McIntyre trash talked Rhodes a bit and that was the end of the show.

Drew McIntyre Borrows A WWE Superstar’s Catchphrase

To follow up on his actions on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre went on X to warn Cody and Jimmy by telling them to “Proceed with caution.”

Proceed with caution is the catchphrase of Jimmy Uso’s wife, Naomi, who is a former WWE Women’s World Champion that is away from the company because she is pregnant with Jimmy’s child.

Naomi saw the tweet and threatened to beat Drew’s ass for using her phrase, so the savage McIntyre took another shot at Jimmy Uso.

Ouch.
