Drew McIntyre And Damian Priest Go To War At WrestleMania

Drew McIntyre is leaving Sin City with another win and a few more battle scars.

Drew McIntyre is another WWE Superstar who has had a troubled run into WrestleMania, and he remains convinced he should be further up the card.

McIntyre’s troubles began at the Royal Rumble, where he legitimately stormed out after things deviated from the plan. This was followed by open criticism of his planned rivalry with Damian Priest, and then a race to fit for the event itself. After getting slammed into a car windshield on March 28, McIntyre got glass in his eye, briefly placing the match in jeopardy.

However, McIntyre made it to the show, and by the time he got there, he was more than ready for a fight.

Following the entrances, it was 1-0 to Priest, who was played to the ring by Slayer’s Kerry King. However, the spine-tingling intro was quickly forgotten.

Once in the ring, McIntyre got to work, barely giving Priest a second to breathe. What started out as a fist fight quickly became a weapon-filled brawl with tables, chairs, and the steel steps coming into play.

The Scottish star even found time to replicate his famous WrestleMania selfie from 2024, confirming he’s still bored at work.

McIntyre wrapped a chair around Priest’s head, only to be thwarted by a Chokeslam and a Razor’s Edge through a table. Not to be outdone, McIntyre hit back with a Future Shock DDT on the steel steps.

In the closing stages, McIntyre counted Old School by shoving Priest through two tables at ringside, following up with a Claymore in the corner, smashing Priest’s face against a steel chair.
