Drew McIntyre Warns CM Punk “You’ll Get Jumped” At WWE Clash At The Castle

Drew McIntyre wants the World Heavyweight Title and has made clear what might happen to CM Punk should he try and stop him in Scotland.

Drew McIntyre won and lost the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 in what could best be described as a mixed night for the star. McIntyre won the title from Seth Rollins but after getting too cocky in his celebrations in front of CM Punk, Punk lashed out allowing Damian Priest to cash in his Money In The Bank contract to leave Philadelphia with the title.

McIntyre has continued his war of words with Punk despite both men being out of action – CM Punk is a long way off returning to the ring while Drew McIntyre will be competing at Clash at the Castle in his native Scotland where he’ll challenge Damian Priest for his title.

CM Punk has vowed to break Drew McIntyre’s heart again which has many fearing the worst as far as his potential involvement in Glasgow. But now McIntyre has made the consequences as plain as possible if Punk decides to try and cost him the biggest win of his career, especially after McIntyre was screwed at the original Clash at the Castle by The Bloodline.

Drew McIntyre Warns CM Punk He’ll Get Jumped In Glasgow

Speaking to Cultaholic, Drew McIntyre explained why Punk coming to Glasgow would be a mistake as there’s a real chance the fans will become physically involved:

I think it would be a mistake for a number of reasons after what happened last time at Clash, I really do not want something like that to happen again to the UK…

This is Glasgow… this is Scotland, this is different. I would strongly suggest not getting involved or doing anything to rock the boat during this show as there’s a genuine chance you’ll get jumped. I’m not even joking. And there’s a genuine chance the security guards won’t stop them because they’re Scottish as well.

I’m telling you, there’s a good chance you’ll get jumped and security will help jump you if you get involved in my match.

CM Punk should consider himself warned and despite his obvious relish for a skirmish outside the ring, it’s unlikely he’d be able to front facelock 14,000 Scots who have parted with a lot of money to see McIntyre win the gold.
